A Barcelona Girls’ Trip in November: Our Full Itinerary + Everything I Wish I Knew

I know, I know! It’s been months since my sister and I touched down in Barcelona, but some trips deserve to be talked about no matter how late the post is (also I blame my procrastination 😂). This one is finally getting its moment (YouTube video dropping soon, so keep an eye out 👀), and I wanted to put the full agenda here for anyone dreaming about a Barcelona trip of their own.

Traveling with my sister in November turned out to be one of the best trip timing decisions I’ve made. Fewer crowds, shorter lines at the big sights, and a totally different, quieter energy to the city than what I imagine peak summer feels like. If you’re on the fence about visiting outside the summer months, consider this your sign.

Quick Tips Before You Book Anything

Pack layers. We assumed Barcelona in November would be mild, and it was — but cooler than expected, especially in the mornings and after sundown. Bring a real jacket, not just a light cardigan.

Book your restaurants in advance. Even in the off-season, the good spots fill up fast. If there’s a restaurant on your must-try list, reserve it as soon as reservations are available, not the day of.

Book your excursions early too. Sagrada Família, Parc Güell, and the flamenco show all benefit from booking ahead, both for guaranteed entry times and better pricing. I used GetYourGuide for basically everything, and honestly it made the whole trip run so smoothly. I put together a full guide with every excursion we booked right here — feel free to steal it: my GetYourGuide Barcelona picks.
